Lightest 20,000mAh Power Banks
Lightest 20,000mAh Power Banks
Updated September 2026
A 20,000mAh power bank is designed for people who need more capacity than a compact 5,000mAh or 10,000mAh model can provide. The trade-off is weight: a larger battery normally means a heavier device to carry.
That makes weight particularly useful when comparing 20,000mAh power banks. If two products offer the same nominal capacity, the lighter one can be significantly more convenient for travel, commuting, hiking, or everyday carry.
This ranking shows the lightest 20,000mAh power banks currently documented in the USB Hubbub database. We rank them by manufacturer-stated weight and compare that weight with maximum output and notable features.

Weights are based on manufacturer-documented specifications recorded in the USB Hubbub database. Where the manufacturer supplies ounces, the gram equivalent is used for ranking. Both grams and ounces are shown here for consistency.
What is the lightest 20,000mAh power bank?
The lightest 20,000mAh power bank currently documented by USB Hubbub is the NITECORE NB20000 Gen3, at 291g (10.3 oz).
It is the only model in the current ranking below 295g, and one of just two documented models below 300g. The NITECORE CARBO 20000 follows at 295.5g (10.4 oz).
That is an unusually low weight for a 20,000mAh power bank. The next model in the ranking, the Baseus AC22, is 310g (10.9 oz).
The lightest models
NITECORE NB20000 Gen3 — 291g (10.3 oz)
The NITECORE NB20000 Gen3 currently takes the top position at 291g (10.3 oz).
Its maximum output is 22.5W, so it is not designed around high-power laptop charging. Instead, its appeal is the combination of a full 20,000mAh capacity and unusually low weight.
For users who primarily want a large battery for phones, tablets, cameras, and other portable devices, minimizing the weight of the power bank itself can be more important than maximizing USB-C output.
NITECORE CARBO 20000 — 295.5g (10.4 oz)
The CARBO 20000 is only 4.5g heavier than the NB20000 Gen3.
At 295.5g (10.4 oz), it remains comfortably below 300g while providing a 20W maximum output.
The two NITECORE models therefore occupy a distinctive position in the ranking: both provide 20,000mAh capacity while keeping the total weight below 300g.
Baseus AC22 — 310g (10.9 oz)
The Baseus AC22 is particularly interesting because it adds substantially more output without a large increase in weight.
At 310g (10.9 oz), it provides up to 45W output and incorporates a built-in USB-C cable.
That makes it one of the strongest combinations of weight and output near the top of the ranking. Users who need more USB-C power than the two lightest NITECORE models provide may find the additional weight worthwhile.
315–327g: a strong lightweight group
The next part of the ranking is tightly packed.
The INIU P51-E2 is 314.7g (11.1 oz), while the AUKEY PB-Y57 and NITECORE SUMMIT 20000 are both 315g (11.1 oz).
The NITECORE CARBO 20 then reaches 320g (11.3 oz), followed by the INIU P62-E1 at 323g (11.4 oz).
The CARBO 20 and P62-E1 are especially notable because both reach 65W maximum output while remaining close to 320g.
That is a substantial increase in charging capability compared with the lightest models for an increase of less than 30g.
Lightweight doesn’t necessarily mean low power
The ranking shows a clear trade-off between minimum weight and maximum output.
The NB20000 Gen3 weighs 291g (10.3 oz) and reaches 22.5W, while the Baseus AC22 weighs 310g (10.9 oz) and reaches 45W.
The difference becomes even more significant with the NITECORE CARBO 20 and INIU P62-E1. At 320g (11.3 oz) and 323g (11.4 oz), respectively, both offer up to 65W.
For users who need to charge a laptop or other higher-power USB-C device, those extra grams may be a worthwhile trade-off.
This is why the lightest model is not necessarily the best model for every user. Weight is the ranking criterion here, but output and port configuration can be more important depending on what you need to charge.
The 300–350g range is the sweet spot
The first 19 positions in the current ranking are all occupied by products weighing 350g (12.3 oz) or less.
That is useful because it shows that you do not necessarily need to carry a 400g-plus power bank to get 20,000mAh of capacity.
More importantly, the products between roughly 310g and 350g offer a broad range of capabilities.
There are 20–22.5W models for general portable-device charging, 30W models for greater USB-C flexibility, and 45W and 65W models for higher-power devices.
For many buyers, this range may therefore represent a better balance than simply choosing the absolute lightest product.
Built-in cables can add convenience
Some of the lightweight models include a charging cable directly in the power bank.
The Baseus AC22, for example, combines 20,000mAh capacity, 45W maximum output, and a built-in USB-C cable at 310g (10.9 oz).
The Xiaomi 20,000mAh model in the ranking also has an integrated cable.
A built-in cable can be useful for everyday carry because it eliminates the need to carry a separate cable. The trade-off is that the integrated cable is part of the product, so the power bank may be less flexible than one used with a separate cable.
How light is a typical 20,000mAh power bank?
There are 92 exact 20,000mAh power banks currently documented in the USB Hubbub database.
Of those, 84 have documented weights. Across those documented weights, the median is approximately 387g (13.7 oz).
That puts the 291g (10.3 oz) NB20000 Gen3 about 96g (3.4 oz) below the current database median.
The difference is significant enough that the lightest models are not simply marginally lighter than typical 20,000mAh power banks. They represent a substantially more portable end of the category.
At the same time, the ranking demonstrates that lower weight does not automatically require sacrificing higher output. Several models below 330g reach 45W or 65W.
Does lighter mean better?
Not necessarily.
A lighter power bank is easier to carry, but a slightly heavier model may offer substantially more output, additional ports, built-in cables, wireless charging, passthrough charging, or other features that matter more to you.
For a 20,000mAh power bank, the useful question is often not simply “What is the lightest?” but “How much capability am I getting for the weight I have to carry?”
The NITECORE NB20000 Gen3 is the clear choice if minimum weight is the overriding priority. But the Baseus AC22, NITECORE CARBO 20, and INIU P62-E1 demonstrate how little additional weight may be required to move into a considerably higher output class.
How we ranked the power banks
We rank models by manufacturer-stated weight.
The ranking is based on products with an exact 20,000mAh battery-capacity value in the USB Hubbub database. Models with missing weight information cannot be placed accurately in the weight ranking and are therefore not included in the table.
Where a manufacturer supplies weight in ounces rather than grams, the value is converted to grams for ranking and displayed in both units.
Rankings reflect the information currently documented in the USB Hubbub database and may change as specifications are updated or additional products are added.
The bottom line
The NITECORE NB20000 Gen3 is currently the lightest 20,000mAh power bank in the USB Hubbub database at 291g (10.3 oz).
The NITECORE CARBO 20000 is close behind at 295.5g (10.4 oz), making these the two lightest documented models below 300g.
If you want more output without adding much weight, the Baseus AC22 weighs 310g (10.9 oz) and reaches 45W, while the NITECORE CARBO 20 weighs 320g (11.3 oz) and reaches 65W. The INIU P62-E1 is similarly lightweight at 323g (11.4 oz) and also reaches 65W.
For pure portability, the sub-300g NITECORE models are particularly compelling. For a balance between portability and charging capability, the 310–330g range is arguably more interesting.
The rankings above are based on the products and specifications currently documented in the USB Hubbub database and will change as additional products and manufacturer specifications are added.
Specifications can differ between manufacturer product pages, support documents and regional versions. Where manufacturer specifications conflict, USB Hubbub prioritises the current consumer-facing manufacturer product page for the relevant market.
