A 10,000mAh power bank is a step up from the ultra-portable 5,000mAh class. You carry more weight, but you also get substantially more battery capacity for longer trips, heavier phone use, or charging more than one device.
For many people, 10,000mAh is the practical middle ground: large enough to provide meaningful backup power without becoming a particularly heavy item to carry every day.
This ranking shows the lightest 10,000mAh power banks currently documented in the USB Hubbub database, ranked by weight. We compare weight alongside maximum output and features such as built-in cables, magnetic charging, displays, and passthrough charging.

The lightest models
NITECORE NB10000 Gen4 — 143g
The NITECORE NB10000 Gen4 is now the lightest 10,000mAh power bank in the USB Hubbub database, at 143g (5.0 oz). It combines that low weight with up to 22.5W input/output and two USB-C ports.
At 143g, it is 17g lighter than the 160g models that previously shared the top of the ranking. It is also substantially below the database median weight for 10,000mAh power banks.
NITECORE NB10000 and NITECORE NB Plus
NITECORE adds two more notably light options immediately below the leader. The NB10000 weighs 150g (5.3 oz) and reaches 20W, while the NB Plus weighs 155g (5.5 oz) and reaches 22.5W.
Both provide USB-C and USB-A connectivity, giving the NITECORE range unusually strong coverage at the lightweight end of the 10,000mAh category.
The 160g group
At 160g (5.6 oz), the INIU P50-E1, INIU BI-B3, INIU P771 and NITECORE POCKET 10000 form the next major group. The P50-E1 and P771 reach 45W wired output, while the P771 adds Qi2.2 magnetic charging.
The NITECORE POCKET 10000 takes a different approach, combining 22.5W maximum output with an integrated USB-C cable and USB-C port.
NITECORE CARBO 10000 Gen2
The NITECORE CARBO 10000 Gen2 weighs 170g (6.0 oz) and reaches 30W maximum output. It sits just below the 160g group while offering substantially more wired output than many of the lighter traditional designs.
Lightweight doesn’t necessarily mean low power
The ranking shows a substantial difference between older and newer 10,000mAh designs.
Some of the lightest models offer only around 12W output, while several products below 180g offer 20W, 22.5W, 27W, 30W or even 45W.
For example, the 143g NITECORE NB10000 Gen4 reaches 22.5W, while the 160g INIU P50-E1 and P771 reach 45W. The 170g NITECORE CARBO 10000 Gen2 reaches 30W.
This means that weight alone doesn’t tell the whole story. If you’re choosing between similarly light models, maximum output and the available charging interfaces can make a much bigger difference to usefulness.
Extra functionality doesn’t disqualify a power bank
Some 10,000mAh products in the USB Hubbub database combine their battery with additional functionality, such as a wall charger.
We’ve included these products in the underlying ranking rather than excluding them simply because they do more than a conventional power bank. A wall-charger/power-bank hybrid is still a 10,000mAh power bank, and its additional functionality is relevant when comparing what you get for the weight you carry.
The same principle applies to magnetic charging, built-in cables, displays, kickstands, and other integrated features. They are differences between products, not reasons to remove a product from a weight-based ranking.
How light is a typical 10,000mAh power bank?
Across the 10,000mAh products in the USB Hubbub database with documented weights, the median weight is approximately 211g.
That puts the 143g NITECORE NB10000 Gen4 at the very lightweight end of the category, roughly 68g lighter than the current median in the USB Hubbub dataset.
At the same time, there is a wide range of designs. Older conventional power banks can weigh well over 200g, while newer compact models increasingly combine lower weight with higher output, magnetic charging, integrated cables, and displays.
The bottom line
If your priority is carrying the least weight, the current USB Hubbub database has a clear leader: the NITECORE NB10000 Gen4 at 143g (5.0 oz).
It is followed by the NITECORE NB10000 at 150g and NB Plus at 155g, before the 160g group containing the INIU P50-E1, INIU BI-B3, INIU P771 and NITECORE POCKET 10000.
The NITECORE entries also show that lightweight does not have to mean low power: the 143g NB10000 Gen4 reaches 22.5W, while the 170g CARBO 10000 Gen2 reaches 30W.
For everyday carry, the sweet spot may therefore be considerably lighter than the traditional 200g-plus 10,000mAh power bank.
